Master Jinn's Razor

I was watching the last episode of Disney Gallery and they were talking about the ice cream maker.
Immediately, I had to come here and speak about my razor, the Gilette Sensor, that I used for years.

In 1999, I remember distinctively I choked a little in the theater when I saw the Jedi comlink.
That was, by far, the worst moment for my suspension of disbelief.
Qui-Gon speaking into my razor.

I still can't help but giggle when I see the prop sold here and there.

DDC Defender

I'm really NOT into blasters.
They are too much 'guns' for being any near to relevant to me, no matter the galaxy far far away

That said, I really wanted to challenge myself and learn how to use my brand new airbrush, and this project seemed appropriate.

I wanted to practice some techniques for making real metal effects, not just "prop-level" shortcuts (like painting the scratches over the black paint, instead of trying to do real scratches).

I still can't care less to have a blaster in my hands, but I do like the final result.
I'm working now on a second saber, with a difficult (truly bland) initial design.

And I'm still pretty excited about all this.

[I know, I know. Leia's blaster is all shiny and black and new. But, let's assume that this is just the same model owned by someone else, OK?]

The starfish

A young girl was walking along a beach upon which thousands of starfish had been washed up during a terrible storm. When she came to each starfish, she would pick it up, and throw it back into the ocean. People watched her with amusement.

She had been doing this for some time when a man approached her and said, “Little girl, why are you doing this? Look at this beach! You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!”

The girl seemed crushed, suddenly deflated. But after a few moments, she bent down, picked up another starfish, and hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. Then she looked up at the man and replied:

“Well, I made a difference for that one!”

It matters

"It matters which side we choose. Even if there will never be more light than darkness. Even if there can be no more joy in the galaxy than there is pain. For every action we undertake, for every word we speak, for every life we touch—it matters".

"Focus on what you can do, instead of what you can't".

Discipline

The day that my Oculus arrived, I bought all the three episodes of Vader Immortal.
However, I promised myself to not proceed to play another chapter before finishing all the dojo levels.

All with full points.

And I did.

[Unexpectedly: I loved Mace's and Vader's sabers]

Old Good Times

Second just to Grell in my personal top ten, he gave us the best GL-GA stories, with social justice, the war to landlords, and a painfully human Roy (and Dinah).

Thank you, Mr. O'Neil.

My Child

I ordered this guy two days after the beginning of my quarantine: March 14th.
After three months, Amazon decided that I have been a good kid (I went out just twice in 90ish days, and just because I was forced to), and I could finally give him a home.

Watto for President

Currently, in every university meeting room around the world.
"We'll let fate decide, huh. I just happen to have a chance cube here. Blue it's online lectures, red it's in-class education..."

Corellian Spike
