Nail Polish

Dear ILMxLAB, I don't care what all the other gamers are telling you, but I actually cried, the other day, when I saw "my" woman hands with nail polish (!) holding a lightsaber.

A wonderful lightsaber, moreover.

Cuore di panna

Another Star Wars TPB out yesterday.

Another one that I am waiting for for months.

I don't like spoilers: I can live under a rock if this means not to ruin the enchantment of a new story.

So, for me, every comic means a ton of brand new content to enjoy.

And I particularly looking forward to this, because I found the story in Vader Immortal super captivating, with his attempt to bring back Padme.

And the last scene of the final season of Clone Wars highlighted even more, if it was needed, how human the dark lord actually is.

The sign

These absolutely beautiful Ahsoka Tano Funko Pop from the Clone Wars season 7 arrived today.

They are a GameStop exclusive (not sure if still available, but it is worth a check).

More photos out of the box in the future, but I'm totally hyper.

A canon story

I am just here for sharing how awesome is that the Galaxy Edge 'mini-droids' are now officially Star Wars canon: they are a new Mubo's line of droids. They have exactly the same dimensions as in the park.

I personally SUPER love this, because so our droids are now not just smaller 'replicas' of larger droids, but they ARE the correct size new line 'mini' droids.

It is all connected

One of the reasons why I love the attention to detail shown by the creators at Lucasfilm (Dave Filoni especially, but all the story group, really) is because they have an incredibly broad vision of what Star Wars is so that every media appears to be connected.

And this is brilliant.

Tales from the Galaxy's Edge

I did not play much tonight because I'm super busy, but I couldn't help trying at least the intro and visiting the cantina.

So far, I can say that this game is absolutely SPECTACULAR.

Thank you ILMxlab for such a masterpiece.

Media Melting Pot

The Star Wars Rebels manga by Akira Aoki was out yesterday, and I am so eager to, finally, read it!

I will probably make some extra scans in the future, but nothing too spoiler-y, I promise.

For 10 more days I have mountains of work, so zero time. Discipline is the key here, and the last releases don't help.

Among this manga, the new Star Wars comic TPB (out last week), Vader Immortal, Squadrons, and the new ILM 'Galaxy Edge' game out tomorrow (!!!), it's hard not to be distracted. 🙃

Magic Binge

For me, the grading rush during the last two weeks of the semester usually means binging all the Star Wars movies AND series over and over.

This year, thanks to an insane Harry Potter bluray collection offer on Amazon the other day [27 dollars instead of 50], I will have more options. 😉

Every Little Thing He Does Is Magic

I found this Albus Dumbledore wand while searching for one for myself.

Although I do not own any other replica from The Noble Collection so I cannot compare the quality of this particular piece, I do love it.

I know, it's not wood but some kind of resin. However, the accents are indeed metallic, and I truly like the design.

In my pan geekery (I don't think it's a thing, but whatever), I enjoy the wizarding world 'in-universe' very much, although, I am genuinely just "accidentally" into this fandom (as Vanda teases me about).

Nevertheless, on a normal person scale, this already translates probably as 'insane fan', so I plan to reward myself with a Leta's wand and a Grindelwald pendant (Grindeldore is love) after the end of the semester, in a couple of weeks.

I still have some items on my Galaxy Edge wishlist, but I am truly grateful that I could finally buy these beautiful Shop Disney plushes.

I really cannot believe that finally, after soooooo many months, after failing to visit Batuu three times, I was able to buy my very own Kowakian monkey lizard.

Welcome, Salgari (Sal, in short).

I am so incredibly hyper for this. Basically, I am smiling since he arrived, on Friday.

A Kowakian monkey lizard for me is the perfect combination of my great passions: Star Wars and pirates.

Best money spent, EVER.

This guy arrived on Thursday, and it was SO FAST that I did not even check that was already here.

It's perfect.

These kinds of movie props are the ones I enjoy the most. They are subtle and extra nerdy, and I love that way.

You feel a special happiness and connection in touching something that, in your mind, it's a toy for a galaxy far far away.

I am SO GLAD that Shop Disney decided to sell online some products from Galaxy Edge.

I am dreaming about some of them for a year (I will post more these days). However, I did not want to support those people that sell overpriced stuff on eBay.

So, thank you, Disney.

Slytherin Pride

As I noted some weeks ago, I wouldn't define myself as a pin collector.

However, it's undeniable that I do own a lot of pins, especially attached to "themed" lanyards that express all my geek or political or social or sports team loves.

I will feature here just the geeky ones. Since I am waiting for a gazillion Star Wars pins (so that some lanyards are really incomplete now), I will start with this Slytherin + Loki themed one.
